Mr. Temperance
Casey Por
Casey is a local performer from Mission B.C. He studied theatre at the University of the Fraser Valley for two years before moving to the city to pursue acting and to study broadcast and film production at BCIT. Since then he's been working all over the Vancouver area in every kind of production from shooting small concerts and indie films to coordinating the video department in major film productions and working as a production coordinator and field producer for the TED Talks.
He's been acting with every company he can get involved with all over the Vancouver area as well, racking up some 30 different credits with many different companies. In recent years he's been focusing mainly on directing, writing, hosting, and (accidentally) burlesque. Turns out if you perform around Vancouver for long enough, sooner or later you wind up on stage in your underwear. Who knew?
Look for his work as a Director of Photography on the upcoming Dandyland series on Telus Optik TV, and his writing and directing work on the soon-to-be-released Ministry of Unusual Happenings. He lives in Coquitlam with his partner, their sister, his dog and the ghost of his cat.
